Allen Weisselberg, longtime chief financial officer of the Trump Organization, pleaded guilty in August 2022 to 15 felony counts related to a tax fraud scheme at Trump's business.
Weisselberg admitted to failing to pay taxes on approximately $1.7 million in income, including perks such as rent-free apartments, car leases, and private school tuition. He was sentenced to five months in prison and testified at a trial that resulted in the Trump Organization being found guilty of tax fraud.
In April 2024, Weisselberg received a second five-month prison sentence after pleading guilty to two counts of perjury for giving false testimony during Trump's civil fraud trial. The total of his two sentences is ten months of incarceration.
